It's the beginning of another month! Here's our favourites for August.
What's netflix binge-worthy?
Mind Hunters. Creepy, yet fascinating. Weird, yet thrilling.
When we were in university, we were obsessed with watching Criminal Minds in Andrel's living room. So, Mind Hunters is right up our alley. It's all set during a time when the behavioural science unit of the FBI was just starting out. It's a fictional show, BUT the killers they interview and profile are killers of the past.
We would binge it, but Kryzia's too chicken to watch more than one episode at a time.
Panini's Italian Cucina: the best restaurant we're lucky enough to have on the main floor of our building.
We've been there so often that the waiters and waitresses know us well enough to say hello as soon as walk in. They have the best cheap Italian eats. From pastas to pizzas to paninis. Our favourites? The Fettucine Alla Panna. The Italian Grilled Cheese with spicy pepper mayo. Chicken Pesto Pizza. Gnocchi Della Mamma with rosé sauce.
Fun fact: SkipTheDishes picks up a delivery every 5-7 minutes on average.
Long Flight = Read a Book
One of the things I dislike about autobiographies is how lengthy and wordy it can get. Whenever someone writes their own biography, they feel the need to include everything and anything. HOWEVER, Shoedog by Phil Knight includes just enough to keep you informed and reading. He does such a great job of telling his story, including relevant details, and keeping it straight to the point. If you're looking for something to add to your library. I would highly recommend this book.
